The graduate application, which is open to U.S. prisoners, is the same as the TSI graduate school application, which is still being developed.

Please check back in a few years. By that time TSI hopes to be an accredited graduate school.

In the meantime, we are building Education Through Bars (ETB) so that the staff, prisoners, and community will be off and running when the accreditation is official.

Education Through Bars, a project of the Transformative Studies Institute (TSI), is a special initiative of the TSI graduate school that reaches through the bars of U.S. adult state and federal correctional facilities to provide free education to prisoners. ETB believes in the old correctional principle that people can change through education. ETB hopes to decrease recidivism and make communities safer by providing education to prisoners who, when released, will have a greater opportunity for success through legal means.
